Hi, I'm Stephanie.
Nice to meet you.
I'm a Senior Software Engineer and occasional Team Lead based in Munich, Germany. I've spent 7+ years building frontend systems for healthcare — design systems, React apps, testing workflows — and I genuinely enjoy the parts most people find tedious.
The longer version
I grew up in São Paulo and moved to Munich in my late twenties — which means I now hold two passports, speak three languages, and have strong opinions about both coffee and Brotzeit.
My background is actually in advertising and marketing — I studied at Mackenzie and spent a few years in digital campaigns before realising I kept gravitating toward the technical side of the work. A Google-sponsored Udacity scholarship in 2018 confirmed it.
Since then I've been at Oncare GmbH, where I've gone from building the first design system to leading a small team, to now working on full-stack data flows in healthcare. I like problems where the UX and the architecture are the same problem.
Outside of work: I'm curious about urbanism, enjoy a good hiking trail, and I'm currently improving my German (B2 and climbing).
